TFS and HTV announced Bai san, a fantasy and science-fiction series adapted from Nguyen Dinh Tu’s novel with AI-generated imagery. VnExpress reported that the script and trailer were complete, with production about to begin.
The first season is planned as 15 episodes of around three minutes for a Lunar New Year 2027 broadcast. The producers described it as the first announced domestic AI series in this genre, rather than the first Vietnamese use of AI filmmaking of any kind.
