Carlos Espi has been added to Spain's senior squad after Ferran Torres injured his left ankle. Bong da Plus reports that the striker had just scored five goals in the U21 side's 13-0 victory over San Marino. He received the call while travelling with the youth team and changed his journey to join the seniors. The U21 performance earned him an opportunity, although selection does not yet constitute a senior international appearance.
