Celtic beat Rangers 5-4 in the final of the revived Tennent's Sixes at Glasgow's Braehead Arena. A Press Association report carried by The Guardian says the tournament featured retired players representing all 12 Premiership clubs. Celtic reversed the outcome of a 7-1 group-stage defeat by Rangers the previous day, with Charlie Mulgrew later acknowledging his emotional celebrations. The result belongs to this six-a-side event for former players, rather than a Scottish league match between the clubs' senior first teams.
