Director Do Thanh Hai joined Sun Group on October 5 as a deputy general director of the group and head of its cinema and performing-arts division, VnExpress reported. The move follows his departure from the deputy general director position at Vietnam Television earlier in October. Hai previously led VFC and worked on familiar television productions including Tao quan, Xin hay tin em and Phia truoc la bau troi. His new responsibilities cover film and live performance. A studio complex mentioned in the report remains part of Sun Group’s investment plans, rather than a completed facility.
