Novak Djokovic and Alexander Zverev were placed in the same half of the 2026 China Open men’s singles draw, creating a possible meeting if both advance. Zverev became the top seed after Jannik Sinner withdrew because his right knee had not recovered.
Djokovic was set to open against Nuno Borges and Zverev against Cameron Norrie.
