Morocco have appointed Éric Blahic to replace Jorge Vilda as women’s national team coach, FIFA reports. The Frenchman has selected 31 players for an October camp, with friendlies against Uzbekistan scheduled in Rabat on October 9 and 12. His task is to prepare the already-qualified Atlas Lionesses for the 2027 Women’s World Cup in Brazil. The appointment marks Blahic’s first position as head coach of a senior national team.
