ESPN has announced its roster for a 25th consecutive season of NBA coverage, adding Jason Kidd and Jeremy Lin. The official release published by the NBA retains Mike Breen, Tim Legler, Richard Jefferson and Lisa Salters as the leading broadcast team.
The main game team returns
The quartet begin their second season together on prominent ESPN and ABC assignments. Breen enters his 24th ESPN season as the network's lead NBA play-by-play voice.
Other play-by-play broadcasters include Dave Pasch and Ryan Ruocco, with Mike Monaco and Drew Carter joining the rotation for selected games. The reporting roster includes Katie George, Malika Andrews and Jorge Sedano alongside Salters and others.
Kidd and Lin join as analysts across game and studio coverage. Those media appointments do not announce Lin's return as a player or a new club coaching position for Kidd.
Studio programmes extend the coverage
Inside the NBA is scheduled for 25 regular-season appearances across ESPN and ABC. Ernie Johnson hosts with Charles Barkley, Shaquille O'Neal and Kenny Smith, with TNT Sports producing the programme in Atlanta.
NBA Countdown features Andrews with Kidd, Kendrick Perkins, Brian Windhorst and Shams Charania. Lin also joins contributors to the Andrews-hosted NBA Today.
The release outlines radio and digital reporting roles as well. ESPN's 25-season milestone is separate from Inside the NBA's 25 planned regular-season appearances.
These are announced broadcast arrangements, not confirmation of viewing rights, subscription packages or television availability in Vietnam.
