On the morning of 13 October, SJC quoted gold bars at VND140.5 million to buy and VND143.5 million to sell per tael, down VND800,000 from the previous close, VnExpress reports. Its plain rings were quoted at VND140–143 million per tael. Other brands also adjusted after international gold fell on 12 October. These are morning quotations, rather than full-day closing prices, and the buy–sell spread remains substantial as listings change over time.
