Johannesburg Giants retained South Africa's national club title with a perfect four-game record, FIBA reported on 12 October. The tournament ended at Mandeville Complex on 11 October, with Giants beating MBB 99-57 in their final game. Dylan Whitbread scored 20 points, and Aviwe Mahlong was tournament MVP. The title earns South Africa's place in the 2027 Road to BAL qualifiers, rather than confirming entry to the main BAL season.
