Ho Ngoc Ha says she does not consider her absence from Liu Yifei's version of a group photograph a serious matter. Speaking to VnExpress on September 9, the singer said they had met a few times and knew one another, but were not close friends.
The photograph was taken at a jewellery exhibition in Shanghai on September 7. Ho Ngoc Ha posted an image featuring herself, Liu Yifei and Bvlgari CEO Laura Burdese. The version shared on the Chinese actress's Instagram account showed only the other two women.
The difference prompted debate on social media about how group photographs should be posted. Some commenters favoured keeping everyone in the original frame, while others regarded image selection as a personal choice. Those reactions do not establish why Liu Yifei chose the crop.
VnExpress reported that Liu Yifei later removed the photograph, while Ho Ngoc Ha retained her own post. The Vietnamese singer's direct response provides a firmer account of her position than speculation about the relationship between the two entertainers. The dispute around the picture has not produced evidence of a wider personal disagreement.
