Hồng Vân and Hồng Đào reflect on more than 40 years of friendship
Hong Van and Hong Dao reflected on more than four decades of friendship while working together on Khuong Ngoc's Len huong. The film casts them as mothers brought into conflict by the past.

They met at theater school, once ran a clothing shop together and performed at the 5B Vo Van Tan stage. Their familiarity supported their onstage chemistry even when rehearsals involved heated creative discussions.
The friendship continued after Hong Dao moved to the United States. Hong Van said they hope for suitable new roles and a reunion with fellow stage performers of their generation.
