Joao Cancelo won LALIGA EA SPORTS Goal of the Month for September for his strike against Racing. The Barcelona defender scored with a curling right-footed shot in the eighth minute of his first start of the season.

This is his second such award, following a goal against Real Betis in September 2023. The announcement recognises a move from the preceding competition period, rather than a goal or match result occurring on the award announcement day.
