Substitute Mikel Merino scored twice as Spain overturned Croatia's lead to win 2-1 in Split on October 6 and secure a Nations League quarter-final place, VnExpress reported. Ivan Perišić had put the hosts ahead in the first half. Merino equalised in the 61st minute before adding the winner in the 87th.
