Michael Kayode marked his Italy debut with a goal in a 4-1 win over Turkey in Bursa, BongdaPlus reported. His shot created the rebound for Davide Frattesi to score, before a Pio Esposito pass set up Kayode for Italy’s third goal.
The article traced his development through Juventus’ youth system, Gozzano and Fiorentina to Brentford. Kayode said representing Italy was his choice after playing for its youth teams, despite contact from Nigeria.
