Quang Ninh is inventorying its intangible cultural heritage to assess current conditions and plan preservation. Bao Van Hoa reported 362 recorded items across seven categories, including 19 with national heritage status.

Fieldwork across local administrative areas had been completed by September 25, with an updated list expected in October. The figures describe an existing inventory; they do not mean that 362 items were newly discovered or newly recognized.
