Da Nang has decided to establish a Heritage Management and Museum Center by merging the city museum with its monuments and scenic-sites management board. Bao Van Hoa reports that the new public unit will operate under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, overseeing assigned heritage and museum functions. Personnel, finance, assets and records must be transferred before October 30. The center is scheduled to begin formal operations on November 1, 2026.
