Ho Chi Minh City's GRDP grew 9.86% in the third quarter and 9.06% over the first nine months of 2026, according to city figures reported by VietnamPlus. The city is continuing infrastructure development, public-investment disbursement and measures to resolve project difficulties in the final quarter. Double-digit annual growth remains a target. The reported results for completed periods should therefore be distinguished from the full-year outcome the authorities are seeking.
