The AFC launched its 100-day countdown campaign for the 2027 Asian Cup following an online meeting on September 29, VFF reported. Planned measures include a multi-ball system, cameras worn by referees and electronic substitution requests sent from team tablets to the fourth official.
VFF president Tran Quoc Tuan joined remotely as a tournament organizing committee member. Host Saudi Arabia is preparing venues, training facilities and logistics, while the announced technologies concern the forthcoming tournament. Vietnam will compete in Group E alongside South Korea, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen.
