Arsenal are marking ten years since Kim Little agreed to return on October 17, 2016. The club's anniversary feature revisits her two spells in north London and the periods she spent playing in the United States and Australia.
It is a retrospective on the earlier agreement, not an announcement of a fresh signing in 2026.
First spell and overseas experience
Little joined from Hibernian in 2008. During approximately five years in her first spell, she won eleven major trophies, finished as WSL top scorer in 2012 and received the PFA women's player award in 2013.
She then played the 2014, 2015 and 2016 NWSL campaigns with Seattle Reign, scoring thirty-four goals in sixty-seven league appearances. A loan period at Melbourne City brought nine goals in twelve appearances before her Arsenal return.
Those figures belong to different stages of her career, rather than the current season alone.
Agreement and playing return differ
Manager Pedro Martinez Losa's comments at the time praised Little's ability to create and score as Arsenal prepared for 2017. The feature recalls that historical assessment.
After overcoming injury, her first match back came on March 19, 2017, in a 10–0 FA Cup win over Tottenham. Little scored the fourth goal, while Beth Mead made her Arsenal debut.
The report separately dates Little's first WSL appearance in her second spell to February 23, 2018. That league milestone differs from both the cup return and the October 2016 agreement. The anniversary brings those distinct stages together without presenting old honours as newly awarded.
