Vietnam’s four-player sepak takraw teams enjoyed a positive Asian Games day on September 30, Van Hoa reported. The men lost the opening set against Myanmar before taking the next two for a 2-1 comeback win in their group opener.
The women beat India 2-0 and Thailand 2-0 to provisionally lead Group A. The results improve their prospects of advancing but remain group-stage outcomes, rather than gold-medal victories in the four-player events. Further competition remains.
