Da Nang Museum received 88 artefacts excavated at Don Chon Sang and Tram Nam Chon during an October 5 handover. Bao Van Hoa reports that the 45-day excavation covered 600 square metres and added evidence about the two defensive and relay-station sites. A sandstone figure or relief has been provisionally associated with Cham culture and dated to around the eighth century. The objects will undergo continued preservation and research, with that initial identification and dating still requiring further study.
