A record seven national associations have declared an interest in hosting UEFA Futsal EURO 2030. Croatia, Finland, France, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Poland and Spain have all entered the opening stage of the host-selection process, UEFA announced.
The declarations indicate interest in staging the final tournament. They do not constitute a decision on the host or replace the final bid documents required at the next stage.
Final dossiers due in June
UEFA launched the bidding procedure on 29 June 2026 and invited associations to submit declarations of interest by 13 October. The seven associations must now work towards a deadline of 8 June 2027 for their final bid dossiers.
The UEFA Executive Committee is scheduled to appoint the host association in September 2027. Croatia and Spain have previously staged Futsal EURO. The other five interested associations would each be first-time hosts if selected.
Interest follows the 2026 tournament
The process follows Futsal EURO 2026, which was staged across Latvia, Lithuania and Slovenia. UEFA pointed to strong attendances and record engagement on digital and social platforms as evidence of the competition's expanding reach.
The governing body described the number of interested associations as another sign of futsal's growing appeal across Europe. The next formal milestone, however, remains the submission of complete dossiers. The announcement identifies potential bidders and the timetable for a decision, while leaving the eventual location of the 2030 finals open.
