ILLIT's Magnetic has surpassed 900 million Spotify streams, Belift Lab said in a statement reported by Yonhap on October 20. The agency says it reached the milestone on the preceding Sunday, approximately two years and seven months after its March 2024 release.
The record has a defined comparison group
Belift Lab describes the time as the shortest among K-pop group debut songs that have reached the same streaming total. The claim concerns that category, rather than every K-pop song or every listening platform.
Magnetic combines pluggnb and house, comparing attraction to a crush with a magnet. The report notes domestic chart success and entries on the US Billboard Hot 100 and Britain's Official Singles Chart Top 100. Cumulative streams are distinct from unique listeners or physical sales, and the comparative record remains attributed to the agency.
Official release records identify the track
BELIFT LAB's original Weverse announcement scheduled the debut mini album SUPER REAL ME for March 25, 2024, at 6 p.m., with an online and in-person showcase later that evening at Bluesquare Mastercard Hall.
ILLIT's official Japanese discography lists four album tracks: My World, Magnetic, Midnight Fiction and Lucky Girl Syndrome. Magnetic is second in that sequence, and the official release notice identifies it as the title track. These records establish the debut-product context for the new listening milestone.
They do not establish additional revenue or a new release plan. The accompanying January 2026 event photograph is archival illustration of the group, rather than Spotify data or an image of the milestone being reached.
