Hull City preserved their unbeaten home Premier League record this season with a 2-2 draw against Everton on 11 October. After a goalless first half at the MKM Stadium, Joe Gelhardt put Hull ahead. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall equalised and Thierno Barry then gave Everton the lead. Substitute Mohamed Belloumi struck in the 74th minute to earn Hull a point in a match both teams had opportunities to win.
