Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade held a consultation in Hanoi on September 30 on a draft decree to replace existing fuel-business regulations. Deputy Minister Nguyen Viet Son chaired the meeting with representatives of ministries, local authorities, associations and fuel suppliers.

Participants discussed restructuring the distribution network, reducing intermediary stages and improving supply-chain efficiency. The ministry is gathering feedback to refine the text. The options presented remain draft proposals rather than final rules already in force.
