At an October 8 workshop in Hanoi, Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade presented the dairy industry’s development strategy through 2030, with a vision to 2045. Deputy Minister Truong Thanh Hoai said domestic raw materials currently meet about 40% of demand and emphasized greater supply independence. Participants discussed links between farming, processing and distribution, as well as technology and traceability. The ministry called for specific implementation tasks to turn the strategy’s longer-term objectives into practical progress.
