Vietnam U17's four friendlies during training camps in South Korea and the United Arab Emirates will not be shown live in Vietnam, according to Thanh Nien.
The report says the match organisers are not selling television rights. The absence of a domestic broadcast does not change the planned preparation programme.
Three matches in South Korea
Cristiano Roland's team are scheduled to train in South Korea from October 19 to 29.
The three opponents listed are South Korea's U16 and U17 teams, plus the U18 side of a K-League club.
Those matches are intended to test Vietnam against pace, physical pressure and aerial challenges. The source places that work in the context of World Cup group opponents Belgium, Mali and New Zealand.
The camp also gives the coaches opportunities to assess how the players defend under pressure and choose moments to counterattack.
UAE stop before Qatar
Vietnam are then due to spend November 6-9 in the UAE, where they will face Fiji U17. That fixture completes the four friendlies described across the two camps.
Fiji provide an Oceania opponent before Vietnam meet New Zealand in their World Cup group. The friendly will offer a practical test of attacking combinations rather than a prediction of the tournament result.
The UAE stay will also help the squad adjust to Middle Eastern weather and time differences before travelling to neighbouring Qatar.
Thanh Nien lists the U17 World Cup dates as November 19 to December 13. Supporters should expect published team updates and match reports for the camp fixtures rather than a confirmed live domestic television service.
