BULBAL MAKE YOUR NAME 2026 has confirmed its first winners following the eastern Ho Chi Minh City selection event. Thanh Nien reported on October 17 that Dao Duy Tan and Tran Thanh Thai won men's Serie A doubles, while Nhu Kim Ngan and Nguyen Hong Van claimed the women's title.
The event at Kaly Pickleball was organised by BULBAL Pickleball Club with Thanh Nien as media supporter. Participation was free, with announced prizes valued above VND100 million.
Winners across the divisions
Luu Khanh Duong and Nguyen Sy Hiep finished second in men's Serie A. Dang Phuoc Long and Tran Nhat Thanh won men's Serie B ahead of Tran Van Cuong and Ngo Van Duc.
Nguyen Thi Van and To Nguyen Trang Thanh were runners-up in women's Serie A. Nguyen Thi Thanh Van and Tran Thi Thu Thuy won women's Serie B, with Vu Thi Thu Giang and Cao Thi Thom second.
These are separate divisions within the same event rather than one overall doubles ranking.
A continuing selection process
Pairs progressed from groups into Serie A or Serie B, with nobody eliminated immediately after the group stage. Organisers said each pair therefore received at least four matches.
Outstanding players from two selection events will be invited to Challenger Camp before the planned team announcement. The second qualifier is scheduled for October 24, and the team launch for November 28.
A proposed community programme and expansion to twenty court clusters by 2027 remain future plans. The completed development is the first selection event's set of competition winners.
