Two cooperation documents involving Vietnam were announced during ASEAN energy meetings with partners in Manila on October 7-8, according to Vietnam's Industry and Trade Ministry. One concerns gas-fired power using domestic gas and LNG; the other addresses carbon neutrality in industrial parks. The partners include Japanese institutions and companies, with Thang Long Industrial Park involved in the second initiative. The meetings also discussed electricity interconnection and supply security.
