Thailand defender Chaiyaphon Otton believes his team is stronger than when it last met Vietnam, ahead of their FIFA ASEAN Cup Group B rematch. He pointed to a stronger squad and said Thailand had prepared carefully for the September 29 fixture.

Thailand opened with a 4-0 win over Pakistan, while Vietnam also took three points from its first match. Chaiyaphon’s assessment is a pre-match view; the lineup and result remain to be determined in Bandung.
