Viettel plans more stations to address weak mobile coverage
Viettel is addressing 1,856 weak-coverage locations in 23 provinces, with plans for nearly 1,400 base stations by the end of November.

Viettel is addressing 1,856 weak-coverage locations in 23 provinces, with plans for nearly 1,400 base stations by the end of November. The Government News portal says more than 800 stations were operating by the end of the third quarter, improving coverage at almost 940 locations. Difficult terrain requires microwave or satellite transmission and solar power. The company targets 99.7% outdoor 4G coverage, with the remaining work still under way.
