CONGB's Cho chut... climbed two places to number one on the Billboard Vietnam Hot 100 in the chart week reported by Tuoi Tre on October 15. It moved ahead of Tim em by Hngle and Bao Anh, with Xuong rong by Dangrangto and DONAL in third place.

From a demo to chart leadership

CONGB said he wrote the song while living in South Korea, drawing on a long-distance relationship. Its gentle Pop/R&B arrangement and guitar accompaniment support a story about missing a partner and hoping to reunite.

An early demo preceded the official performance at the Tinh ha say hi final. The report presented the song as an example of his more emotional musical approach alongside his established dancing and performance skills.

Tuoi Tre reported more than three million Spotify streams, over 4.5 million views for the YouTube Performance version and more than 2.5 million TikTok posts using its audio. These describe different platform measurements at the time of reporting and cannot be combined into one listening total.

A crowded chart week

Twelve Tinh ha say hi songs appeared on the chart, including Laviem at number six, Secret at 13, MRT at 14 and The gioi cua anh at 20. MCK had ten entries, including six returning after revisions.

The result follows CONGB's other solo activity in 2026. He released a collaboration with buitruonglinh in January, followed by the five-track EP CONGBDAY. In April he received the new artist honour at the Cong hien Music Awards and also held his first Ho Chi Minh City fan meeting, attended by more than 1,000 people.
