SGGP counted 27 consecutive unbeaten matches for Vietnam's senior men's national team under coach Kim Sang-sik after the win over the Philippines. Its next match against Thailand will test that run.

The 27-match figure follows SGGP's stated scope; it should not be extended to all age groups or treated as 27 wins. The Thailand match had not yet been played when the report was published.
