The Tự hào là người Việt Nam concert is planned for November 1 at Thái Nguyên stadium, with an expected audience of around 30,000. Tùng Dương, Noo Phước Thịnh and Hòa Minzy are among the announced performers for the programme themed Nối vòng tay lớn.
Organisers will offer free tickets through an online registration portal that is to be opened. The 30,000 figure describes the planned scale rather than attendance already recorded.
Local history shapes the theme
Thái Nguyên was chosen for its links to the Việt Bắc resistance base and the An toàn khu, including Định Hóa. The programme draws on that historical setting to explore solidarity and the contributions of different communities, connecting them with collective efforts in society today.
The annual event is part of the Tự hào là người Việt Nam series and looks towards the national solidarity celebration on November 18 and Vietnam Culture Day on November 24.
Performers and orchestral team announced
The line-up also includes Đăng Dương, Võ Hạ Trâm, Lâm Bảo Ngọc and Phạm Anh Khoa. Đồng Quang Vinh will conduct the orchestra, with Lê Anh and Mỹ Lan presenting.
Last year's programme at Mỹ Đình stadium in Hanoi attracted 30,000 people. That previous attendance provides context for this year's target, while the actual audience in Thái Nguyên remains ahead.
Music researcher Nguyễn Quang Long says the wider series of large concerts has helped bring politically themed artistic programmes closer to the public. New arrangements and large-scale presentation have contributed to that interest. For the November event, audiences can now await the organisers' registration details.
