Community joins efforts to protect Điện Biên Phủ battlefield heritage
Dien Bien Phu Museum and Thanh Nua authorities held a heritage-protection meeting in Cong Hoa village on September 10. The event sought greater community involvement in preserving the Dien Bien Phu battlefield complex.
Residents learned about strongpoints 311A and 311B, conservation responsibilities, protected boundaries and adjoining land procedures.
Direct discussion helps people identify areas requiring protection and coordinate with heritage managers. The initiative connects preservation with local life and shared responsibility for the historic landscape.
