Bologna have reached an agreement to recruit free-agent defender Matteo Darmian, BongdaPlus reported, citing Fabrizio Romano. A one-year contract is expected if no final obstacle arises. The club needs defensive cover after Emil Holm's injury and values Darmian's experience and versatility across several positions. The report did not provide club confirmation that the contract had been signed or that the player had completed registration.
