The Denver Nuggets are scheduled to face the Indiana Pacers at Arena CDMX in the 2026 NBA Mexico City Game on 7 November. The NBA lists the start as 4 p.m. in Mexico City and 5 p.m. Eastern time, which converts to 5 a.m. on 8 November in Vietnam.

A 35-game history in Mexico

The league says this will be its 35th game in Mexico since 1992: 19 preseason games and, including the coming contest, 16 regular-season games. Mexico has hosted more NBA games than any country outside the United States and Canada. The NBA’s English and Spanish reports both give the same local start time.

It will be the fifth consecutive year in which Mexico City has hosted a regular-season game. Arena CDMX has staged the city’s NBA games since opening in 2012 and is also home to the Mexico City Capitanes of the G League.

For a third consecutive year the game falls during the local Día de Muertos celebrations. The NBA plans a themed court and activities for fans inside the arena.

Context for the matchup

Denver previously played a preseason game in Mexico against Golden State in 2006. In the Nuggets’ final game before the trip, Nikola Jokić recorded his 201st career triple-double, with 32 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists against Toronto, according to NBA.com.

Brothers Andrew and Ryan Nembhard are on Indiana’s and Denver’s rosters respectively; their participation depends on the actual game-day lineups. The league’s report said Indiana’s Tyrese Haliburton was sidelined with a hamstring injury, a status to check again closer to tip-off. The NBA said game tickets were sold out when it published the information. The contest remains scheduled, with no result yet.
