Doãn Ngọc Tân faces four weeks out, says Văn Hậu meant no harm
Doan Ngoc Tan expects to miss about four weeks after a challenge by Doan Van Hau during The Cong's 1-0 defeat to Cong An Ha Noi on September 10. He said an examination found swelling around the ankle ligaments.
Ngoc Tan said Van Hau apologized immediately and that he did not believe the challenge was malicious. Van Hau was dismissed following a video review.
The injury rules Ngoc Tan out of the September 15 AFC Champions League Two match against Melbourne Victory. A return after the international break depends on his recovery.
