Toriyama Archives has shared the original artwork of Super Saiyan Son Goku created by Akira Toriyama in 1991. Tuoi Tre, citing CBR, reports that the image appeared on the cover of Weekly Shonen Jump's combined issue 36–37, associated with a circulation milestone for the magazine. The drawing reflects the muscular design and dynamic movement characteristic of Dragon Ball Z. The new development is the archival presentation 35 years later, rather than the creation of a new illustration by Toriyama.
