Vietnam welcomed more than 17.7 million international visitor arrivals in the first nine months of 2026, up 14.5% year on year, VietnamPlus reported. China and South Korea remained the largest source markets, while others expanded rapidly: Russia reached around 1.1 million arrivals, up 160.6%, and European arrivals grew 55%. The Philippines, Cambodia and India also recorded notable growth. The total represents nearly 71% of the annual 25-million-arrival target, alongside a focus on longer stays and greater value per trip.
