Vietnam lost 2-1 to Kyrgyzstan in their first futsal friendly in Bishkek on November 3, the VFF reported. Tu Minh Quang equalised in the 35th minute before Shokhrukh struck with 52 seconds remaining.
Vietnam improve after the interval
The hosts began strongly, using their physical presence and attacks down the flank. Bektur headed in from Zhenishbek's effort following a sixth-minute kick-in.
Vietnam adjusted defensively and sought counterattacking opportunities. Da Hai had a turning shot deflected wide in the eighth minute, and the visitors kept the deficit to one goal at half-time.
Possession and combinations improved after the restart. Thinh Phat, Cong Dai and Trong Kien had notable opportunities, with Bekbolot preventing Vietnam's attempts from producing an earlier equaliser.
Power-play response before the final setback
Diego Giustozzi introduced power-play to increase pressure. Tu Minh Quang filled that role and finished directly in the 35th minute to make it 1-1.
Pham Van Tu also stayed alert to Kyrgyzstan's replies, but Bekbolot later advanced and supplied Shokhrukh for a powerful angled winner.
The teams are scheduled to meet again on November 5 at KFU Sports Complex, continuing a friendly programme in which the coaches can assess their options. The rematch provides an opportunity to adjust after the situations encountered in the first meeting.
Vietnam's next tasks are reviewing late defensive decisions and their power-play execution. Readers can follow Vietnam national team fixtures for updates.
