Graham Norton rejected a rumor that Taylor Swift filmed the Opalite video first and then arranged for its cast to appear on his show. Variety cited his remarks at the Royal Television Society conference in London.

Norton linked the idea to Swift’s appearance with Domhnall Gleeson and the other guests the previous October. The video, released in February 2026, features that group of performers.
