Heimir Hallgrimsson has urged UEFA to consider keeping Ireland and Israel apart in future draws after a tense 1-1 Nations League match. The Guardian reports that the Ireland coach described the fixtures as difficult for his team and left disciplinary issues to the relevant committee. An Ireland staff member alleged that he had been spat at, while the Israel FA denied that anyone spat towards the coach. Hallgrimsson's request is his stated position, rather than a new UEFA ruling.
