Changes at Harmony

Harmony player Bảo Hương said the girls encouraged one another to keep training after last season's final defeat and aim for a better finish. Newcomers have been given sustained preparation time, with the squad using both school facilities and rented courts. The boys' team has also changed, particularly inside. Coach Nguyễn Tiến Thành described around three months of increased training and participation in community competitions to test a revised system. Harmony's Group A includes Cầu Giấy and the High School of Education Sciences. The Cầu Giấy meeting revisits last season's Hanoi regional final.

Support for Phan Đình Phùng's next generation

Phan Đình Phùng's girls must also replace members of the graduating cohort. Former leading player Linh Đinh is helping with training while continuing to compete in the girls' U18 division of the VYB 3x3 Festival. She said the team resumed work after summer, learning running patterns and approaches suited to its current personnel. In her assessment, the younger players possess skill and basketball understanding but need more competitive experience. Graduates' support is intended to help that development. The schools' ambitions describe a season in progress, not titles already secured.
