HIEUTHUHAI won the chief role for a second time during episode 107 of 2 Ngay 1 Dem’s Yen Bai trip, Tuoi Tre reported. At the episode’s end, he proposed handing authority to Le Duong Bao Lam, Kieu Minh Tuan and Ngo Kien Huy, although acceptance of that proposal was not confirmed.
Challenges behind the result
The second day of the trip included activities at Nong Trai Vui Ve and a treasure hunt. HIEUTHUHAI completed a checkpoint task quickly, while Nicky found the key to a treasure chest. His team also won the water ball throwing challenge.
A close final contest against Ngo Kien Huy returned HIEUTHUHAI to the programme’s fictional tourism company leadership. The role belongs to the entertainment format and its challenge structure.
A longer run for the guests
Nicky, buitruonglinh and Duong Domic joined in episode 105. They had appeared in three episodes and were still present in the trailer for episode 108, extending their advertised run to four consecutive instalments.
Tuoi Tre described mixed audience responses, ranging from enjoyment of the extended guest appearances to concerns about repeated comic routines. The programme is adapted from South Korea’s 1 Night 2 Days, with trips structured around tasks for food, accommodation and avoiding penalties. Episode count does not itself establish the number of days travelled.
Some viewers joked about a three day, two night version, but no renaming or format change was announced. Episode 108 is the next point for following the guests’ journey and the outcome of HIEUTHUHAI’s proposed handover.
