Gia Lai’s culture and sports authorities met the VFF and other organizers at Pleiku Stadium on October 6 to review preparations for the U23 Gia Lai Cup 2026, according to the federation. Discussions covered facilities, security, medical support, communications and accommodation and transport for participating teams. The stadium is being repaired and upgraded, including replacement of its grass after the rainy season, to meet sporting requirements. The meeting is an organizational milestone for the international friendly tournament. It does not mean the matches have taken place or that a final fixture schedule has been announced.
