Apple TV has renewed Imperfect Women for a second season, with Kerry Washington returning as Eleanor, Variety reported on October 5. Unlike the first season, which adapted Araminta Hall’s novel, the continuation will follow an original story built around Eleanor’s return to Martha’s Vineyard and secrets connected to her past. Creator Annie Weisman will share showrunning duties with Justin Hillian. The first season premiered in March and also starred Elisabeth Moss and Kate Mara. The announcement confirms the renewal but does not provide a release date for the new episodes.
