Vietnamese-language channels accounted for 16% of watch time at Worlds 2024, making Vietnamese the third-largest language behind Korean and English, according to Esports Charts figures reported by Tuoi Tre.

The November 4 article uses historical results alongside partial 2026 data to examine the audience for the League of Legends World Championship. It reports fivefold growth in Vietnamese-language viewing over four years.

Finals and co-streaming growth

Vietnamese channels peaked above 1.1 million concurrent viewers for the 2024 final between T1 and Bilibili Gaming. The 2025 T1-KT Rolster final exceeded 1.2 million, according to the same source.

Co-streaming offers another route to follow matches through commentators' and creators' personal channels. Hoang Luan, Thay Giao Ba and Van Tung ranked among the ten leading Worlds 2024 co-streamers by watch time.

Vietnamese-language channels represented 17.2% of the event's co-streaming watch time. Hoang Luan alone gained almost two million hours over the preceding year.

The ongoing season needs its full dataset

Tuoi Tre cites a November 2 report showing average viewing for the 2026 Swiss stage up 8.15% year on year, despite a lower peak. Worlds was moving into its knockout rounds at the article's cut-off.

The cited coverage excludes major domestic Chinese streaming platforms, defining the scope of these comparisons.

Complete Vietnamese-language figures for 2026 remain to be published. That dataset is the next requirement for comparing the ongoing season with the separate historical finals records from 2024 and 2025.
