The 2026 National Student Esports Championship held its launch on September 30, featuring Valorant and Arena of Valor. Thanh Nien reported a total prize value of VND2 billion for this season.

The competition builds on editions dating from 2023. The more than 5,000 students and 170 educational institutions mentioned in the report describe the 2025 event, rather than confirmed 2026 registration totals. The launch begins the new season and does not announce its champions.
