Japanese photographer Yuichi Kobayashi’s images capture long queues at Hanoi’s 35 Trang Tien ice-cream shop from the late 1990s. One photograph shows the outlet in 1998. VnExpress said the series was recirculated online after the shop closed on Sept. 15, following nearly 70 years of operation.
The shop opened in 1958. The brand said the No. 35 outlet had “completed its historic mission” after 68 years, while nearby branches continue at 18 Hang Bai, 44 Trang Tien and 18 Ngo Quyen.
